Our objective is to make sure your visit with us is pleasant and informative.
Your initial consultation visit will consist of a brief clinical exam and a discussion of potential treatment options.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your first visit:
Any x-rays (if applicable)
A list of medications you are presently taking
Medical or Dental insurance information (if applicable)
Complete & print online patient registration forms on this site.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.)
If anything changes after you’ve scheduled your appointment, please notify the office at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
Diagnostic Records & Treatment Planning
If after the consultation, it is determined that treatment is indicated – you may begin your diagnostic records that day (or schedule for later). These records take about 30-45 minutes, and usually consist of study models (impressions are taken), facial & dental photographs and two orthodontic x-rays.
Once these orthodontic records have been obtained, Dr. Yoon will carefully review them and determine a specific treatment plan & alternatives, to best meet your orthodontic needs.
Our office will then give you a call to set up the necessary appointment(s) to begin your orthodontic treatment.
If your treatment plan requires spacers, or an additional impression for an appliance, our office will contact you to schedule this visit, prior to your actual treatment start day with Dr. Yoon.
- During your initial visit we’ll also discuss your payment options & insurance coverage.
- Our practice offers a wide range of payment options, from flexible monthly installment plans to discounted fees for payments made in full at the start of treatment.
- The cost of treatment will vary depending on the complexity of your specific orthodontic case. Our treatment coordinator will work with you to find a plan best suited to your individual needs.
1) Payment in full – with a fee discount.
2) An initial down payment (to fit your individual needs) – with interest-free monthly payments extended over a flexible period of time.
We accept all major credit cards* and for your convenience monthly payments are automatically charged to your credit card.
At the time of your initial consultation, we will review the cost of your Treatment Plan and discuss payment terms so that you leave with all the necessary information to start treatment if desired.
We accept most dental insurance plans. Our Treatment Coordinator will work with you to research your insurance plan – to ensure that you receive the maximum benefits available under your policy. If you have any questions regarding your insurance, please do not hesitate to contact us here.
While many dental insurance plans now include orthodontic benefits, our office will make every effort to provide you with the most convenient financial options available to you.
